I am an assistant professor in the economics department at Vanderbilt University. I received my PhD in economics from UC Davis in 2019.

My research explores empirical macroeconomic topics in historical settings. My dissertation examines how credit availability affected economic activity, housing markets, and human capital during the Great Depression. Together, these outcomes underscore the long-run costs of financial crises.
