I am an economics PhD candidate at UC Davis.  This fall, I will be joining the Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University as an assistant professor.

My research explores empirical macroeconomic topics in historical settings. My dissertation examines how credit availability affected economic activity, housing markets, and human capital during the Great Depression. Together, these outcomes underscore the long-run costs of financial crises.
